How a Dock Installation Works

Here at Pier Perfection, we offer different kinds of docks that are each unique and fit certain types of lakefronts your home could have. Here are the different docks and how each of the install process works:

  • Roll-in: These docks are assembled on land before literally being rolled into the lake wherever it best fits. These docks also take the least amount of crew to complete.
  • Sectional: These docks are also assembled on land, but built in multiple sections, hence the name. After the first is placed, then the next section is inserted into the first one’s brackets, and so on. Each new section will need their leg height adjusted so they match the depth of water and keep the dock level.
  • Floating: If you live on a lake that has fluctuating water levels, then this is the dock for you. On the shore, the frame is assembled while attaching the floats, and after the dock is launched into the water, the anchoring system is made to keep it in place despite the water level changing.
